'Aayiram Muthangaludan Thenmozhi' is one small budget film that is making big waves in the industry now.

It is said that the film is made as a romantic-comedy drama and the director has included, as the title says, many romantic kissing scenes in the film. "In one scene the hero tries to kiss the heroine on her lip but she refuses to give in but when the hero overpowers her heroine also gets involved in the passionate romance and bites hero's lip," says Shanmugharaj, the director of the movie.The film also has a distinction of having 71 new faces doing some vital characters.

Director Shanmugharaj is a former assistant of director Cheran. Before going to the actual shoot with the camera Shanmugharaj conducted rehearsals of the whole film having the entire cast stayed together in a house taken in a village in Thiruvannamalai. "This practice has made my work easy as we enacted the whole script before we went for our actual shoot," adds the director.

The film has Venkatesh and Akshara in the lead role. 'Vamsam' fame Tajnoor has scored the music.
