The prestigious Cannes Film Festival has reportedly extended its deadline just to accommodate Kamal Haasan's Viswaroopam.
According to Kamal's publicist, Viswaroopam is to take part in the Cannes Film Fest under the competition section this year and the organizers have decided to keep the deadline open so that Kamal has time to complete the film's shooting.


Viswaroopam stars Kamal Haasan, Pooja Kumar, Andrea and several others in the lead roles. The film is being directed by Kamal Haasan. The climax portions of Viswaroopam are currently being shot in Mumbai and are expected to be wrapped up in a few days time.
