Director Ram of 'Katrathu Tamizh' fame has denied rumours that were reported in the media about doing a film producer Ekta Kapoor!

   He has categorically denied saying, "I was surprised to hear and read reports that I had signed a film with Bollywood producer Ekta Kapoor. Who is Ekta Kapoor? I don't know how people create such reports without any base."
  
Ekta Kapoor is an established TV serial and Bollywood film producer. Her last production was Vidya Balan's 'The Dirty Picture'.
The director also adds, "I have not decided about my next film as I'm yet to complete the release work of my current film 'Thanga Meengal'."
  
The film 'Thanga Meengal' has Ram himself playing the protagonist. The film marks the comeback of actress Padmapriya, who is doing a Tamil film after a long gap. Sadhana, a small girl, is doing a vital role.
  
Yuvan Shankar Raja is again joining Ram for this film after their 'Katrathu Tamizh'. Na. Muthukumar is penning the lyrics. Arabind Sara is handling the camera.
 
 The film is an emotional package in line with 'Katrathu Tamizh' but has all the ingredients of a commercial film.
The film is produced by Gautham Menon's Photon Kathas and R S Infotainment and is touted to be a summer release!
