The moment director Gautham Menon and Ilayaraja came together for Nee Thanae En Ponvasantham, expectations ran high.

The movie features Jeeva and Samantha in the lead roles. Gautham, who worked with the likes of Harris Jeyaraj and A R Rahman, is thrilled to have Ilayaraja in his project.

Buzz is that plans are on by Ilayaraja to visit Hungary and England for symphony for the film. Ilayaraja is currently composing songs in Mumbai.

A promo trailer was released by Gautham for the movie and was an instant hit.
