Madhavan is now on a six month sabbatical, to attend to his knee. After 12 years of continous shooting the actor is taking a break.
He will be going abroad for a knee operation and will start his next film only by the year end.

On Sunday Madhavan was in Chennai where he caught up with Suriya and Jyothika over dinner at their home in Adyar. Remember Jo was one of his favourite heroines and they had done two films together- Dum Dum Dum, and Priyamana Thozhi.

Maddy and Suriya too had good vibes. They even did a commercial for a soft drink. Later Madhavan tweeted – ” Had faaab dinner at my dear bro Surya’s and Jo’s fabulous home in Chennai.Was so nostalgic meeting up with them.Such a lovely family.”
