Ace Comedian Vadivelu gave a big shock to the American Tamil Sangam by demanding a whopping sum of Rs. 25 Lakhs for attending a special programme conducted by the organization in the USA.

The American Tamil Sangam run by the Tamil community in the US is holding a special programme in America for this Tamil New Year and they wanted to invite a popular film star from Tamil Nadu. Since Vadivelu is a popular and talented actor and is also not so busy at this moment they decided to invite him for the programme but the actor shocked the organization by demanding this huge amount for attending the function.

As the organizers considered this amount to be so big they dropped the idea of bringing Vadivelu to the programme and it is learnt that the function will be held without any special invitee from India.

Vadivelu also refused the call from DMK for campaigning in the Sankarankovil by election saying that his mother is not keeping well. Because that he took part in the election campaign in the last assembly election the actor is now being sidelined by the film industry.
