Vairamuthu praises debutant actor

Balagurusamy is making a film called Kizhakku Paartha Veedu based on a real life ghastly incident which he witnessed 30 years ago in his native place, Theni.


Prabha, a native of Madurai, is debuting playing the role of the lead protagonist, Ammasi, around whom the story revolves. For a change, a Tamil girl, Thamali, from Periyakulam, plays the female lead.

National award winners, Thambi Ramaiah and Appu Kutti, play prominent roles in the flick too. Apparently, after watching the rush for the movie, ace lyricist, Viaramuth, has heaped praises on the young hero.

He reportedly said, "No one other than Prabha would have been apt to play the role of Ammasi. Though a newcomer, he has done a great job and realistically portrayed the role." All six songs have been penned by Viaramuthu, had have received the music from Maria Manohar.
