Parvathy Omanakuttan, the leading lady of Billa 2, owes it all to her career in fashion. "It is only because of my fashion career that I was able to get into Billa 2," she says, adding, "One of the producers of Billa 2 spotted me on the ramp of a fashion show featuring bridal collections and offered me the lead role opposite Ajith.

Actually, in the beginning, I was very tense and nervous acting with him as he is a superstar, but he put me at ease with his humble gestures.
He talks with everyone on the sets and his concern for others is just amazing." On her role she says, "I have a very important role to play in the making of the don." Does she find films more interesting than the fashion industry? "I don't see any major difference.
I have always been a film buff and taken an avid interest in cinema. I chose the fashion industry as the best route to enter films. The previous Miss India winners have been my inspiration."
