The dusky actress, who is choosy about her scripts, has apparently evinced keen interest to act in yet another Bollywood remake Kahaani that again featured Vidya Balan in the lead.

The movie, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, revolves around a pregnant NRI lady's relentless search for her missing husband in Kolkata.

Vidya portrayed the role of the pregnant Vidya Bagchi and her performance was critically acclaimed.
Reportedly, T'town hottie Anushka, who watched the movie, was highly impressed with the challenging script and Vidya's character in the movie.

Buzz is that she has said that she would like to reprise Vidya's role if the movie is made in the south.
That was enough for top production houses in Tollywood. We hear they are competing to secure the remake rights from the B'town producers.

Sources said that they are ready to shell out a big price for the Tamil/Telugu remake rights — provided Anushka Shetty agrees to give dates.
