Arjun erects a Hanuman temple

We’ve always known actors to be a rather religious lot. But Action King Arjun’s devotion has made him do something that not many would.

While we often hear of tales of actors climbing hills leading them to temples or walking barefoot, Arjun has managed to ship a huge monolith rock from Karnataka to his farmhouse in Chennai, where he has got that carved into a Hanuman Temple.

The Gentleman actor is said to be a big devotee of the God and he had a big ceremony at his farmhouse when he was to erect the temple. “The idol has been carved out of a single rock. There has been a great deal of work that has gone into this,” says Arjun, who has just returned from Kerala, where he was shooting for the second schedule of Mani Ratnam’s latest flick Kadal.

The actor is also excited about his multilingual film Prasad, which just saw its Kannada release.
“It received rave reviews from the critics. It was also premiered at the Berlin Film Festival. The first copy of the Tamil version of the film is ready. I’m very eager to see how people will respond to this film,” says Arjun.
