In her message, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa condoled the death of the wife of veteran villain actor M N Nambiar.

   "I pray for the departed soul and express my deep condolences to the family of Nambiar which is in a state of grief on the sad demise of Rukmani Nambiar," says the message sent to the family members of Rukmani.
 
 Rukmani, the wife of late actor M N Nambiar, breathed her last at a city hospital a couple of days back. She had been suffering from multiple health problems due to her old age.
  
CM Jayalalithaa and M N Nambiar have done many successful Tamil films together. M N Nambiar has acted with almost all the top heroes of Tamil cinema in varied roles from character artist to villain. He is known for his unique style of portraying the negative shades of villain in Tamil cinema.
