Whatever he does he does it differently. Actor-director M Sasikumar has found a way to help poor students in his own way.

 "Whenever I was invited to a college function I was hesitant to attend event but later I found this a way to help the deserving students. Yes, I ask the college management to offer a free seat to a deserving student – a bright student but financially weak – instead of paying me with some amount for my visit to the college," says Sasikumar. It seems many colleges have welcomed the idea of Sasikumar and have been helping the deserving students in their studies. "Till now around 70 students have been benefitted," adds the director.

At the film front also the filmmaker is too busy with his acting projects that he hardly has time to think about directing a film in near future. With the success of 'Masters' in Malayalam, Sasi is getting offers from the Malabar state also. And, about Tamil projects he is doing three films in hand now.
"With all these busy acting schedules I think my next directorial venture will be pushed to 2013," he laughs.
