Murugadoss' Vijay starrer, Thuppaki is shaping up well and the second schedule is now due to be shot from April 12th.

The film stars Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead and a major portion has been shot in Mumbai so far, under the expert cameraman ship of Santhosh Sivan.

Now the buzz is that director Murugadoss himself has done a small cameo in his film, courtesy, a request from Vijay. Murugadoss has reportedly said, ' Since Vijay requested, I decided to do a small cameo in the film." It may be recalled that Murugadoss did a small cameo at the end of 7 Aum Arivu as well.

The first look of the film is touted to be unveiled on Tamil New Year's day. The unit is preparing to shoot in Mumbai again for the second schedule, on several real life locations.

Harris Jayaraj has done the music while Vijay himself has sung one song.
Murgadoss is all praise for Vijay's professionalism.The film is slated for an August 15th release and the latest buzz is that Akshay Kumar will be doing the Hindi remake of Thuppaki.
