It looks that Jyothika, the yesteryear heroine and the wife of actor Suriya, is all set to get herself launched for a second innings in films.

In a recent interview to a Tamil magazine Suriya has spilled the beans that Jyothika had decided to do a comeback and she would soon be signing a movie soon. However, the actor did not disclose anything about Jyothika's new project.

When quizzed whether he had restrained her from acting in films after marriage, the actor said, "It was purely her decision not to act in films as she wanted to spend time at home and enjoy the marriage life." And, when asked how she could act in commercials then, Suriya added, "Films require long time but commercial shoots wind up in a day or two. As our children are bit grown up now Jyothika can dedicate her time for long hours, and doing films is possible now!"

Suriya is currently doing 'Maatran' with his favourite director K V Anand, who directed Suriya in the blockbuster 'Ayan'! Kajal Agarwal plays the female lead and Harris Jayaraj scores the music. The film is on the verge of completion and will be released in August this year!
