It is official now that 'Ilaya Thalapathy' Vijay is to start his Gautham Menon film 'Yohan: Athyayam Ondru' soon!

Yes, it is none other than Gautham Menon, the director of the film who has announced that the film would be begin its shoot in July this year. In his recent writing in a micro-blogging site he wrote, "Yohan will begin its journey in July."

Vijay is currently doing A R Murugadoss' 'Thuppaki' and will be finishing the film soon, by the end of June. Vijay and Gautham Menon film was decided last year itself and the first look of the film was also published widely giving a rough picture about the film and the character that Vijay is doing in the film. Vijay plays an international don in the film.

 Gautham is currently filming the trilingual 'Neethane En Ponvasantham' with Jiiva playing the lead. Nani and Aditya Roy Kapur play the lead in the Telugu and Hindi versions and Samantha plays the female lead in all the languages. Maestro Ilaiyaraja scores music for the film. The film will be wrapping up its shoot this month and is expected to see an August release.

 Vijay is also committed to a film with 'Deiva Thirumagal' Vijay. The actor will start this project once he completes 'Yohan: Athyayam Ondru'. The director is now filming 'Thaandavam' with Vikram, Anushka and Amy Jackson and will be finishing the film soon.
