They might be considered as competitors on-screen, but Dhanush and Simbu suddenly seem to share a decent rapport off-screen. The actors sat together during a flight journey abroad and it looks like they bonded big time.

Simbu posted on his micro-blogging site, "Back to Chennai!!! Had a grt time in Dubai with Dhanush, Manoj Manchu and all my industry friends."

What's more... the two even crooned the world-famous Kolaveri number from Dhanush's last release on stage, much to the delight of fans. Introducing Simbu on stage, Dhanush said, "He's a better dancer and a better singer than me... who else, he's our young superstar."

Interestingly, the teaser of Simbu's upcoming film Vaalu that was released recently raised eyebrows for its supposed dig at some of the dialogues from previous Dhanush flicks. When we had quizzed Simbu about it, he said, "It's nothing like that; it's just part of the dialogues in the film."
