Prabhu Deva has come to the help of the family members of his former assistant, who passed away recently.

"Chandrasekar was one of the assistants of Prabhu Deva, when the actor-choreographer-director was filming 'Pokkiri'. Suddenly he died due to illness recently. Prabhu Deva was shocked when he came to know this,' sources say.

They add, "Prabhu Deva was out of country at that time. But he wanted to help the family. Hence he asked dialogue writer Prabhakar to hand over Rs one lakh to Chandrasekar's family members on his behalf."
