Driector and actor Samuthirakani seems to be on a high these days. He seems to be one of the busiest people in Kollywood.
After finishing the shoot of Saatai, he is now readying for the next shoot of Seenu Ramasamy's Neerparavai, where he plays a Muslim man who runs a boat repair shop, in an extended cameo appearing for about seven scenes but creating an impact.

The actor is also busy directing the Kannada remake of Porali and has a film with Jayam Ravi and Amala Paul on the cards as well.

Apart from this, he has reportedly agreed to act in 4 other films after completing his directorial endeavours.

And how does he balance it all? "I am going to give 40 days at a stretch to these projects. I have taken up crucial roles that regular actors have not been able to do for various reasons. But for me, I feel that these roles will showcase my acting talents well, so I have taken up the films."

Now, looks like this is one director and actor who is doing a fine balancing act indeed!
