Saravanan Meenatchi Tirunelveli & Coimbatore Event To Air on 17th & 24th June on Vijay TV

Serials on Vijay TV have always been unique and not formulaic. Saravanan Meenakshi is one of the most popular serial which is airing on Vijay TV Monday – Friday at 2030 hrs for more than 180 episodes now.

Vijay TV had conducted an event at Tirunelveli and Coimbatore to celebrate the pre-wedding ceremony of the most popular characters of the soap Saravanan and Meenakshi. As per the story line of 'Saravanan Meenakshi' the marriage sequences of the couple will be telecast during the end of July 2012 in the serial which is airing Monday to Friday at 2030 hrs. This is the first time ever that a couple which is so popular amongst viewers is celebrated and their wedding is anxiously watched by one and all.

A grand event celebrating the wedding ceremony of Saravanan and Meenakshi titled 'Hero Saravanan Meenakshi Thirumana Varaverppu powered by RMKV' was held at Tirunelveli and Coimbatore on 13th and 19th May 2012. Popular faces of Vijay TV including the cast and crew of the serial, Mirthi Senthil (Saravanan), Srija (Meenakshi), Rajasekar, Kuyili, Y.V. Subramaniam, Stalin, Ramya, Suchitra, Sai and many others graced the occasion and performed on stage. The serial is directed by Azhagar, story, screenplay, dialogue Kadhiravan and cinematography by Gopal.

The entire event held at Tirunelveli and Coimbatore will be aired on Vijay TV as special episodes on 17th and 24th June 2012 at 1230 hrs.

Story of "Saravanan Meenatchi"
Saravanan Meenakshi is a story of love, life and marriage; as the title establishes; the story revolves around the lives of the two characters Saravanan and Meenatchi. The story began as the two families of Saravanan & Meenatchi meet to for the traditional "visiting of the girl's house"; but things go wrong; and an enemity rises between the two families and the wedding doesn't happen. As their lives continue after that incident; Saravanan and Meenatchi find themselves falling in love with some twist of fate. The couple then decides to face all odds; convince their families and get married. After so many hurdles the marriage date is fixed for the couple and every one is eager to witness their wedding ceremony.
