Director AR Murugadoss has said that he is planning to release the Vijay starrer Thuppaki on August 15^th. It is a long weekend and the director is keen on cashing in in it.
There are reports roaming around saying that AR Murugadoss’ Thuppakki will release on August 15th, the Independence Day.

The director and his team are progressing at a bright pace to finish the shoot at the scheduled time. We hear that the shoot of the film is almost done. The director has also announced that the teaser of the film would be released in a week or two.

The film’s shooting is almost over and its lead star Vijay will be moving over to the Gautham Menon directed Yohan Adhyayam Ondru next month.

Thuppaki stars Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles. Harris Jayaraj has scored the music for this venture. Santosh Sivan has cranked the camera for this film which is produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu.
