Here’s some news about Singam 2. This film, which sees Hari and Suriya teaming up yet again, have just begun work on it, say sources.
The highlight of the flick will the action sequences and the climax, for which the team is likely to head to South Africa. And, as most Hari movies go, the film starts off in a rural background, in Thoothukudi.


Director Hari, who is known for his commercial blockbusters, has signed Santhanam up as the comedian for the sequel of the superhit Singam. Interestingly, the comedian has worked with Karthi on a couple of superhit flicks as well.

The last time Suriya and Hari came together, for the first part of Singam, they achieved a commercial blockbuster. In fact, the Tamil flick was remade in Hindi as well with Ajay Devgn in the lead. Titled Singham for the Hindi audiences, the movie did well at the box office in Bollywood as well, just like most south remakes have. It featured the protagonist in a rough-and-tough cop’s role that was well appreciated and clicked well with the masses. So, we have to wait and watch if this sequel to that film will have a remake in Bollywood as well.
