It was a star studded audio launch for Suriya's Maattrraan at the Expo Hall in Singapore on August 9, 2012. The event was in deed one-of-its-kind in Tamil cinema.
This visual extravaganza was organised by AGS Entertainment and more than 10,000 people witnessed the event. How can we not mention about Harris Jayaraj mesmerizing music in the soulful voices of Kathik, Vijaya Prakash, Velmurugan, Haricharan, Vijay Balakrishnan, M.K. Balaji, Suchitra, Sumitha Sarathy; these singers also performed live on stage which won the heart of many Tamils in Singapore. Giving them the perfect company was Thamarai, Pa,Vijay, Na.Muthukumar and Viveka.

The colourful event become vibrant when celebrities like Anjali, Neetu Chandra, Poorna, Dhanshika and Julia (Russian actress) performed on stage. Other celebs who graced the occasion includes Sivakumar, Prabhu, Karthi, Sneha, Prasanna, Divya Spandana, Sonia Agarwal, directors Lingusamy, Gautham Menon, Hari, Vijay along with Maattrraan team (Suriya, director K.V.Anand, Harris Jayaraj, cinematographer Soundarajan, Antony, Subha, Peter Heins, Rajeevan and producers Kalpathi S.Aghoram, Kalpathi S.Ganesh, Kalpathi S.Suresh.
