Vijay Anthony starred and composed Naan and a newbie Pa.Ranjith directed Attakathi starring Dinesh & Swetha in the leads are slated to release today, on 15th August.

Attakathi is a love story with debutant actors in milieu style directed by Pa. Ranjith, a former associate of Venkat Prabhu. While Naan is the action thriller directed by Jeeva Shankar that has Vijay Anthony in 3 faces as music director, hero and producer and Naan also records the 25th milestone in Vijay’s industry career.

Both Naan and Attakathi are certified with U/A by the censor board. Studio Green is distributing Attakathi in and around Tamil Nadu that has background scores by Santosh Narayan. Makers are keeping their fingures crossed as they have to compete with Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger that is releasing in grand scale world wide along with Tamil Nadu, on Independence Day.
