While the title issue on 'Thuppakki' is yet to get resolved and pending before the court, fans have diverted their focus now on the storyline of the film. Guess works are on about the role of Vijay in the film.

Meanwhile, director A R Murugadoss has denied saying Vijay is not playing a police officer in Thuppakki. "He is playing a youngster in Mumbai, who is on a mission." Looks like, as soon as the Tamil version hit the screens, Murugadoss will start remaking the film in Hindi. It's likely that Akshay Kumar will play the lead role.

Recently, Vijay and Akshay appeared for a song sequence in 'Rowdy Rathore' directed by Prabhu Deva. Director Murugadoss strongly believes that Akshay will do full justice to the lead role of Thupakki.
