Dhanush and Hansika will be sharing the screen once again after 'Mapillai' in critically acclaimed director Sargunam's next directional venture 'Sotta Vazhakutty'.

The director who earned recognition through 'Kalavaani' and 'Vaagai Sooda Va' has set the film in the backdrop of Kumbakonam. As per the reports from sources Dhanush will be a bronze lamp maker who falls in love with a Hansika, who plays a dentist.

'Sotta Vazhakutty' will be a comedy film weaved around the love tale of the lead characters. Vamsikrishna will be the antagonist in the film, while Nasser, Shayaji Shinde, Suri, Singam Puli, Sriman and Sathyan form part of the support cast.

Gibran who scored the tunes in Sargunam's previous film 'Vaagai Sooda Va' will be scoring the music. Dhanush is presently busy with his Bollywood debut film 'Raanjhnaa' and Bharath Bala's 'Mariyaan'. An official announcement on the film's shoot is expected soon.
