Kandhakottai, director S Sakthivel is gearing up for his next film titled ‘Ego’. The film stars newcomer Velu as the male lead, while Anaswara plays the female protagonist.

Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal fame Bala gives comic relief. The Camera work is handled by AV Vasanth. The film’s music is scored by Kash Villanz, while background score is by Dhina and the lyrcis are penned by Vivega. ‘Cable’ Sankar has written the dialogues, editing is by M Bala and art by Sivashankar. Produced by V.P.STILLZ P.Ravichandran, the publicity is taken care by Nikhil.

About the film’s story, the director informs, “Friendship, Love, Hate and Ego, stemmed from beautiful lies and unexpected events throw the Hero and Heroine’s lives into a toss. What happens in their lives forms the story. Its a fun family entertainer that will satiate every audience’s need!”

The film’s shoot took place in Coimbatore, Pollachi, Udumalpet, Chennai and Hyderabad. The songs have been canned in New Zealand. The film crew is currently filming its final stages and gearing up for October release soon.
