In the race of movies being made on conjoined twins, Skanda and Priyamani starrer Charulatha has won the battle with Suriya’s Maatran and Iruvan.
Yes, Priyamani’s Charulatha is all set to hit the mega screens on September 21st, recording the first movie on Siamese twins.

Remember earlier there were many reports on the league of these films being filmed on the concept of Siamese twins, immediately after the trailer release of KV Anand directed Suriya starrer Maatran. Iruvan was slated to be the first one to be released, but however postponed due to some undisclosed issues and now director Ponkumaran’s Charulatha is the first conjoined twin seeing the daylight on Sep 21.

However Charulatha is the remake revenge story, which is an adaptation of the Thai horror film Alone that is simultaneously releasing in Kannada and Telugu versions along with Tamil. While Suriya's Maatran with Kajal Agarwal is an action entertainer that is slated for a grand release on Oct 12th worldwide.

Let us wait till Sep 21st to watch Priyamani on screens in dual role, as Siamese twin in Charulatha…
