The latest buzz in the industry is that, Samantha has been approached to play the lead in director Vijay’s next with Vijay.
We hear the director will soon meet up with the actress for a narration. Samantha’s spokesperson says, “Vijay’s manager had approached us a while back for a possible venture. However, we haven’t sat for a narration yet. Samantha is busy shooting for her Tamil and Telugu films, and the director and the actor are tied up with their respective projects. We haven’t heard from them after that.”

Director Vijay says, “I haven’t met Samantha. Only G V Prakash (music composer), Nirav Shah (cinematographer) and Anthony (editor) have been roped in for the project. The production house might have approached a couple of other artists, but we are yet to start finalizing the cast.
