Buoyed by the unexpected strong and positive responses from the audiences to his latest film titled Paagan, actor Srikanth is brimming with energy.
The actor had his Nanban releasing early this year which also had Vijay and Jiiva as the other two heroes.  As such, Paagan was to be the actor’s acid test at the box-office to see whether he had it in him to carry a film solely on his shoulders.

In its second week now, Srikanth is quite happy at media reports which claim that the film has been declared a ‘hit’ by trade pundits.  The film’s success has made Srikanth already start the preparatory work on his next film which has been tentatively titled as Nambiar.  It’d be in Srikanth’s interest to check whether the title has already been registered with the Producers’ Council or not.

Debutant director Ganesh would be directing the film.  Srikanth’s character in the film is named as ‘Ramachandran’ and the character of Santhanam, who plays a character opposing Srikanth in the film, has been named ‘Nambiar’.  However, Santhanam’s character is conceived in such a manner that it would appear ‘illusory’.  Details would be known in the days to come.

Srikanth assures that the film would be a mix of humour and romance.  Talking to newsmen about his latest venture, he said “The script is something I haven’t heard of earlier; I can assure that there are definitely oodles of novelty in the script.  I immediately gave my nod to star in the film.  Santhanam too liked the script a lot.  We hope that the film turns out to be a successful film!”
