Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is turning 70 on 11th of October, 2012. Preparations for a special birthday function for this star have been made like never before, says sources.
The event will have the big guns from Indian film industry, business and politics in attendance.

The exciting news that Rajinikanth, who is a self confessed fan of Amitabh Bachchan is also in the special invitees list. Rajinikanth missed out last year's birthday celebration as he was ill. The superstar family has already confirmed that they would be present at the special occasion.

Other celebrities from Kollywood like Kamal Hassan and Prabhu, who share good relationship with Amitabh Bachchan are unsure of attending the event. The grand event will be held at Film City, Mumbai on October and it will start at 8.30 pm.

A book on the veteran Bollywood star will also be released on the same day. The preparations are being taken care by Amitabh Bachchan's wife Jaya, his daughter Shweta and Anil Ambani. Over 1000 guests are expected to attend the party.
