Even as Andrea is looking forward to starting work on Endrendrum Punnagai, she is equally thrilled about two of her other films — the Telugu remake of Vettai, for which she is shooting in Hyderabad, and her Malayalam film, Annayum Resulum.

Speaking about her Telugu film, she says, “Director Kishore has tweaked my character in the film to suit my persona and body language. In fact, I haven’t watched the Tamil version because I want to bring a fresh perspective to the role.”

She adds, “I had a major hangover from Annayum Resulum when it got done. I didn’t want to leave Anna’s world! Earlier, when people asked me which role was closest to my heart, I’d say the role is yet to come. But now, I have my answer — Anna! She made me rediscover things about myself. I’m grateful to director Rajeev for having the courage and conviction to cast me in the role, going against all the conventions and sterotypes, and I hope I’ve done justice to his vision of Anna.”
