Actor Dhanush is now getting for his next spell of big shows. While ‘3’ had won critical acclaims, it didn’t meet the interest of producers and distributors as the film didn’t perform well in box office.

The actor’s next set of projects have taken a jet-speed progression that is likely to take him to next level. Yeah! While the big brands like Bharath Bala of Vande Maataram fame and academy award winner A.R. Rahman come together, it’s a big celebration that too in collaboration with Dhanush.

The film ‘Mariyaan’ has almost completed the major portions in Gujarat and the last leg of shooting commences by this week. Meanwhile, the actor is done 15% of shooting with his Hindi debut film ‘Raanjhnaa’ starring Sonam Kapoor opposite him in female lead role.

The film is directed by Anand L Rai, who earlier shot to fame with a romantic comedy titled ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ starring Madhavan and Kangna Ranaut in lead roles... Even this film has musical score by A.R. Rahman and we can expect couple of chartbuster albums from the Dhanush-Rahman combo now.
