Karthi is back with yet another bilingual! This time, he teams up with director Venkat Prabhu to make a romantic comedy entertainer in Tamil and Telugu.
The film is titled Biryani and Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green is the producer. The director is currently busy giving final touches to his script.

When its biriyani, can Ambur be far behind? Not at all. Perhaps thats why this Tamil Nadu town, which is famous for its yummy biriyani, has been chosen by Venkat Prabhu to kickstart his next film.

The Venkat Prabhu Game-Mankatha, is being followed up by a Venkat Prabhu Diet – Biryani. The first schedule is reportedly kicking off in the most apt location for biryani, Ambur. The town is located off the Chennai-Bangalore highway and is highly popular for its biryani and is known to have an extremely high density of biryani outlets within the town area.

Premgi Amaren,who plays the second lead in the film,says,We will be camping at Ambur in the first week of October for the shoot.I am playing a prominent role in the film.This will be yet another mass commercial film from my brother.I am looking forward for the Ambur schedule for some fun... and also for some delicious biriyani. Karthi is said to be looking forward to starting work on the film, which will also be Yuvan Shankar Rajas 100th film as music composer.

The director has roped in Mayakkam Enna actress Richa Gangopadhyay to play the female lead. Director Venkat Prabhu is currently penning the dialogues for the film. Meawhile, the crew is hunting for two leading ladies to join Richa in the film.
