What have you got to say about the allegations of fraud?
Certain people are very jealous of my popularity in films. They have dragged me into these controversies. I have to sort out two cases. I have been dealing with the allegations legally. The case will take its own course in court. Meanwhile, certain channels have been abusing me and I am planning to take legal action against them.

About the arrest…
I felt left out when I was arrested. But after a few days in jail, I was feeling little better. The jail authorities were treating the prisoners with good care. Though it was a tough few days, I managed to come out of it.

It seems your current legal woes have been delaying Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya…
I ensure that they will not affect my films. Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya is almost done. I didn’t delay any shoot. The crew of the film was not waiting for me. Santhanam is very busy. Once he comes back from his other shoots, we will commence work again.

Suddenly, you are also producing films. What were you doing before you entered films?
I was an acupuncture physician before I entered films. I have been managing hospitals. I get help from my friends and financiers for producing films. Above all, it’s my passion that drives me here. I want to make it big in this industry.

How is it working with Shankar in ‘I’?
Shankar said that he is my biggest fan. He has liked my previous work. I am doing a comic role with Santhanam in the film. He helps me a lot on sets. I will join the crew in their next schedule.
