We have earlier reported that STR complete the shoot of his much awaited Podaa Podi recently. The film is likely to hit screens for this Deepavali while his another film Vaalu, which was supposed to hit screens in November, has been postponed. Now the latest buzz is that Premji will appear in a song in the film.
Podaa Podi is produced by Gemini and Padam Kumar and as the title suggests, the film is an energetic rom-com. It is reported that Shobana will play a prominent role, that of Vijayalaxmi Sarathkumar’s dance mentor, in the film. Well-known artist Ute Bergk (assistant art director of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and V for Vendetta) has been roped in as the art director for the film. The music of this flick will be launched soon.
