Jiiva and Vijay have come to the support of their longtime friend and assistant P T Selvakumar, who is currently making his directorial debut with Onbathula Guru. The film has Vinay and Premgi playing the lead roles. The crew has been shooting for the film on the outskirts of Chennai and the latest buzz is that Jiiva will be playing a cameo role in the film.

Even Vijay has been approached for a special dance number in the film. Selvakumar says, “Jiiva will be playing a special performance in the flick. We will be shooting with Jiiva in a few days time. Vijay is not yet confirmed. He might do a guest appearance in a song.” The two actors have earlier acted together in Shankar’s Nanban.
