Here comes a good news for those eagerly waiting to hear AR Rahman's tunes for Mani Ratnam's upcoming film 'Kadal'. AR Rahman will perform the song 'Nenjukulley' from Kadal for the first time in MTV Unplugged music show.
Mani Ratnam films always generate a great interest among his fans and when he teams up with AR Rahman, the expectation about the songs are sky high.

The shoot of his new film Kadal is not over, with heroine Thulasi down with a bad viral fever. However, good news is on the anvil for Mani fans. Some part of the wait is over and fans will get to hear the first song from Mani Ratnam’s Kadal very soon.

Nenjukulley, as the song is titled, will be played for audiences worldwide for the first time ever with A-list of musicians. With the mellifluous melange of notes, fans can watch A. R. Rahman play out the first song of the much-awaited Mani Ratnam magnum opus on MTV Unplugged this Saturday, the 3rd of November’2012 at 8pm.

'Kadal' features a fresh onscreen pairing of actor Karthik's son Gautham Karthik and yesteryear actress Radha's daughter Thulasi Nair. Arvind Swamy, Ponvannan, Pasupathy, Lakshmi Manchu, Thambi Ramaiah are the other artistes who form the support cast.

Sreekar Prasad does the editing, while Rajeev Menon takes care of the cinematography. The film is expected to hit the screens by the ed of this year. The film is produced by Manir Ratnam under Madras Talkies banner.
