He may have shifted gears and gone behind camera in the last few years, but dancing star Prabhudeva is soon going to be seen in UTV Motion Picture’s ‘Any Body Can Dance’ (ABCD), doing what he is best known for- dance.


Actor-director Prabhu Deva, who is often likened to Michael Jackson for his dance moves, is all set to pay tribute to the late King of Pop in a song in the upcoming film 'ABCD - Any Body Can Dance'. The first poster for Prabhu Deva's 3D dance flick, 'ABCD: Anybody Can Dance' directed by Remo D'Souza and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur is out.

Prabhu will also be seen grooving with dancing diva Madhuri Dixit on a song in the film. The film is about a dancer from Chennai who beats the odds to make it big. ABCD, will also have choreographer Ganesh Acharya in the cast. Lauren Gottlieb, winner of the popular international television talent show So You Think You Can Dance, has been roped in as the female lead.

Prabhu Deva has dubbed for this film himself and will also be paying tribute to Michael Jackson, who is an inspiration to him, in a special routine. ABCD is scheduled for a release in February 2013.

By the looks of its first trailer, this one looks like an Indian version of ‘Step Up’ with the actors showcasing some amazing dance moves.
