According to the recent press meet which was held by the Producers Association and the Tamil Theater Owners Association,in order to point out their conern over the Kamal Haasan’s DTH release model, the Producers Association had completely acepeted the model and had given their full support to Kamal.
On the contrary part the Tamil Theater Owners Association was not convinced by the model since they are worried about losing the audience.

Director Bharathiraja, who was the most experienced person in the Industry was also present in the meet ,he had totally agreed with the Kamal' point of view.He also stated that ,this trend would only bring more people to theater. The veteran director also expressed how the theater owners were against telecasting songs in television. But it did not affect the audience who comes to theaters. In this meet Abirami Ramanathan and K.R were also present .The Producer Association had given their full support to the Universal Hero.
