Ever since 'Kolaveri' became an overnight success across the globe, Dhanush has started banking his hopes on YouTube.
Now with his upcoming production Ethir Neechal rapidly progressing towards the completion, actor-producer Dhanush has decided to launch the audio on December 14.

As a promotional strategy, the makers jumped into a creative means of publicizing the songs through the funny incidents behind every song. One of the songs has Dhanush and Anirudh sitting on the terrace with a Soda, water and Chips packet to compose a song. While Anirudh asks for a foreign trip to compose songs, Dhanush pulls his leg saying, 'He's not worth it'.

On persistently insisting Dhanush for an outdoor trip, he is taking across the running platform of Marina Beach and is asked to compose the tracks.

Ethir Neechal is a mixed bag of different genres with melodies and fast beat Kuthu song. The album has six tracks comprising of Nijamellam Maranthupochu (singers: Dhanush, Anirudh) followed by Boomi Enna Suthude (singers: Anirudh), Ethir Neechal (singers: Anirudh feat. YOYO Honey Singh and Hip Hop Tamizha Adhi), Velicha Poove (singers: Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal), Un Paarvayil (singers: Anirudh, Vivek Siva) and Local Boys (singers: Dhanush and Velmurugan).
