Kumki, which went in for censor certification today, has emerged with a U certificate. It is in fact not surprising that the film has been certified with a U as director Prabhu Solomon had planned it out as a clean entertainer.
Kollyinsider.com has earlier reported viewers that the first copy of Vikram Prabhu's debut film Kumki is been submitted to the censor board. Latest update is the film has cleared the censor with clean U certificate.

Confirming the news producer Prabhu of Studio Greens banner tweeted,"Kumki gets U certificate..!!!." Lakshmi Menon is pairing opposite Vikram Prabhu in Kumki, directed by Prabhu Solomon under N. Lingusamy's Thirupathi Brothers banner.

We also hear that the censor board officials did not advocate any cuts, which is a major relief for the entire Kumki team. Kumki enjoys the laudable music composed by D. Imman. Kumki is slated for release on December 14th and its Telugu version, titled Gajaraja, will also hit the screens on the same day, say sources in the film industry.
