It is no secret that Santhanam’s entry to filmdom was through Simbu. It was Simbu who gave Santhanam a chance to act in Manmadhan and since then he turned out to be the most-wanted comedian in Kollywood.

Speaking about his rapport with Simbu, Santhanam said that he will remain thankful to the star all through his life. The comedian added that he would give his call sheet whenever Simbu wanted it. All that Simbu has to do is to make a call and Santhanam says that he will be glad to leave any shooting to join him.
