It is now confirmed by the makers that Vasantha Balan’s next flick is ‘Kaavia Thalaivan’ with Siddharth in the lead and this time the renowned director has teamed up with AR Rahman for this film.
Director Vasanthabalan is all set to start his next venture, titled 'Kaavia Thalaivan'. The Telugu version also will have Siddharth in the lead. And interestingly, Vasanthabalan has managed to rope in Oscar Awardee AR Rahman to compose music for the movie. "An official announcement is expected anytime," say sources.
"The script demands a high budget and also music from a composer like Rahman. So Vasanthabalan decided to have Rahman on board," they add.
The dialogues are by Jeyamohan. Kaaviya Thalaivan will be an interesting film as Vasanthabalan is for the first time doing a film with AR Rahman and Siddharth. Vasanthabalan is a director who believes in story telling as proved by his earlier films like Veyil, Angadi Theru & Aravaan.
As kollyinsider reported viewers earlier, after his critically acclaimed period flick Aaravan with Aadhi and Dhansika, Vasanthabalan joins his hands with Siddharth under Sasikanth’s Y NOT Studios banner.
