The audio launch of Yaruda Mahesh was a different one in certain ways. The new crop of successful, young directors who are paving the way for the future were the dignitaries invited on stage. The film is directed by R Madhan Kumar and produced by Red Studios.

The lead pair, Sundeep and Dimple was present. For Telugu and Bollywood actor Sundeep (Shor in the City fame), this is a Kollywood debut as solo hero. His other bi lingual Maranthein Manithein stars Adhi and Taapsee as well.

The trailer and four songs were shown which included a club song, a duet, an item song and a bar song. The audio was released by Arivazhagan, Shantakumar and Renjit and received by the others present which included Balaji Dharaneetharan, Karthik Subburaj, Jeeva Sankar and Kumara Raja.

The music is by Gopi Sundar and camerawork by Raana. Said Sundeep on the occasion, "I got this offer from Madhan after he saw Shor in the City in Hindi and I was thrilled to hear the script." Heroine Dimple has done a few films in Kannada.

The film is a comedy caper with a suspense element relating to the title thrown in. Jagan takes up the comic element in the film along with Sundeep.
