The latest about music composer G V Prakash is that he'll launch his own production house. The film, which will be directed by Vikram Sukumaran, an assistant of Balu Mahendra, is touted to be an action film.
"I've always wanted to produce but was waiting for the right script to come along," says GV, "When Vikram narrated a script, I was floored. It's a revenge action film and will be international in nature." GV will be launching a debutant Kathir as the male lead, while Oviya will play the heroine. "I wanted a fresh face for the male lead because the film is a raw, Madurai-based subject. The subject had a Malayali heroine and Oviya fits that role perfectly."

He will not be composing music for this flick, we hear. "One of my assistants will score the music. I'll be announcing that and the rest of the details on January 23," he adds. So, who is his role model as a producer? "I adore Farhan Akthar; he rocks in everything he does!"
