Vishwaroopam gets good collections in overseas
Kamal Haasan's latest release Vishwaroopam has got good collections in overseas and the film is earning applauses from critics for the Universal Star's taking and direction skills.
Kamal Haasan’s magnum opus Vishwaroopam recently faced the heat owing to stubborn demands by angry Muslim protestors. However reports from those who have seen the movie say the story is the triumph of a good Muslim over the members of Al-Qaeda and there is nothing for a Muslim to be ashamed.

Apparently, the movie which released to an international audience in the US and UK theatres following a screening at Hollywood the day before has come out with flying colors. Reportedly, the movie is amassing a huge profit from prime markets in USA and UK.

In USA alone the opening weekend collections for the flick amounted to $6,34,912 (Rs 3.43 crores) from fourty four screens. A per screen average of $14,430 (Rs 7.77 lacs).

The Telugu version of the film has raked in $1,02,657 (Rs 55.38 lacs) from twenty eight screens. A per screen average of $3,666 (Rs 1.97 lacs).

From UK and Ireland £95,676 (Rs 81.23 lacs) from nineteen screens. A per screen average of £5,036 (Rs 4.26 lacs).

Kerala which came forward in all support of the actor’s movie previously also contributed its handsome share with a collection of Rs 3.78,214 lakhs from Ernakulam. Interestingly, many of those who saw the movie have flown in from neighboring states owing to the ban.

However, for Kamal the figures are only a step in the ladder to an expected profit of 150 crores from the movie. Next up on his list is the collections from north India centers as its Hindi version titled Vishwaroop will release on February 1. 

Vishwaroopam USA Box Office

Vishwaroopam [Tamil ] has embarked on a flying start at USA Box office. [Tamil] USA Thursday previews + Friday $257,110 [Rs 1.38 Cr] from 42 locations.
As of saturday Tamil #Vishwaroopam scored $659,000 from 84 locations(Reported).
