Akon not singing for Ajith's Valai: Yuvan
The latest buzz online is that, music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has roped in popular R & B and hip-hop singer Akon to sing a number in his album for the Ajith-starrer Valai.
However, Yuvan tells us, “No, it’s not true.” This is not the first time that rumours of Akon singing in a Tamil film has surfaced.

Earlier, it was reported that the Chammak Challo… singer was to sing for Vijay’s Thuppakki! A source from the Ajith-Vishnuvardhan film reveals, “Akon is not singing for the film; and Yuvan has already finished most of the work on the album. In fact, the team is leaving to Dubai for a 20-day schedule to shoot the songs, talkie and action scenes.”

Meanwhile, we hear work on Ajith’s next with Siruthai Siva is also underway. The source reveals, “The film’s about Ajith’s relationship with his brothers, and Vitharth, Munish (nephew of Raj Koti), Bala and Sohail (Karun Chandok’s brother) will play his brothers. While Tamannaah plays the female lead, Santhanam and Jayaram have important roles in it. The film will be shot in Hyderabad and Rajahmundry.”
