Court gives green signal for 'Vana Yudham', to release soon
AMR Ramesh's Vana Yudham, which is about Veerappan, has been cleared by the court and is likely to hit the screens during the Valentine's week. The Tamil-Telugu-Kannada trilingual was issued a stay order for its controversial content, which has now been cleared by the High Court.

AMR Ramesh’s Vana Yudham based on the iconic sandalwood smuggler Veerappan, has been given a green signal. The Tamil trilingual that will release as Attahasa in Kannada and Veerappan in Telugu suffered a delay in its release owing to a petition by the forest brigand’s wife Muththulakshmi. She claims the script to be fictitious.

On the contrary, Director AMR Ramesh has been of the view that the flick is factual. Seconding him in his cause, recently the Madras High Court set forth a condition which requires alterations in scene no. 8 and 14. Post the appropriate adjustments the producers of the movie expect to screen it on February 14 or 15.

In the movie Arjun, Kishore (as Veerappan), Lakshmi Rai and Vijayalakshmi play pivotal roles. As Vijay Milton has taken control behind the lens, Editor Anthony will look over the post production process. Sandeep Chowta is the featured composer for the same.

Earlier in the day A Natarajan part of a team headed by Director AMR Ramesh disclosed “Mr Ramesh has made an engrossing story based on facts gathered from police records. His honest attempt to make a movie should be appreciated. I don’t see the truth behind the fickle claims hampering the movie’s release. We are happy the court has cleared the movie finally”
