KV Anand directing Rajinikanth news has turned out to be false as the director has denied it. A leading newspaper had reported that the duo was working together and Eros International has signed them for a future project.

The buzz around K V Anand's proposed flick with Superstar Rajinikanth just got bigger. The production house, which is currently producing his Kochadaiyaan, will work on his next as well. "This film will be made by K V Anand of Ko fame," stated Kamal Jain, its group chief financial officer, in a recent interview.

However, when contacted K V Anand, he stated that he has not signed on the dotted line yet. He says, "As of now, I'm working on three different subjects with three script writers. Three production houses are in touch with me, and I've approached three heroes for each subject. Depending on the availability of dates, I will sign my next film. I will get a clearer picture in the next 20 days."

"Friends, all are nothing but rumours. Unless otherwise a Maattraan (twin) of mine went around signed the film," posted KV Anand on his Twitter page.

He further added, "I haven't signed my next film with any production company or any hero. I will move only after finishing the script and till then all are just gossips," he tweeted.

Apparently, a leading financial daily reported on Monday that Rajinikanth's next film will be helmed by Anand and Eros International will produce it. It has to be noted that Rajinikanth's Kochadaiyaan, which is gearing up for summer release, is being produced by Eros International.

In the recent months, there were several reports on KV Anand working with the superstar for the first time. On Monday, it became a sensational news after the daily claimed that the duo is coming together for the future project.
