Cinematographer turned director K.V.Anand is one of the hot picks of the industry. He might have directed very few films but he always shows up with a better story line every time. His last flicks Maattrran, Ko and Ayan were complete entertainers.

Ilayathalapathi Vijay is now working for his next flick Thaliava under A.L.Vijay's direction. Meanwhile there is a huge speculation of Vijay and K.V.Anand's combination. Director K.V.Anand is currently working on his script and hero for his next film was not finalized. There is rumor stating Vijay might play a lead role in K.V.Anand's next movie.

As per reports, K.V.Anand recently met Vijay and discussed about the story and more details of this will be out very soon if confirmed.

KV Anand's next film continues to be in the news even before the film is in the scripting stage. The names for the leading role have regularly emerged one after the other, thereby generating hype on the project. After Rajinikanth, Surya, Vikram and Ajith Kumar, now Ilayathalapathy Vijay's name has started doing rounds.

According to rumour mills, KV Anand has recently met Vijay to discuss about the project. The director has narrated the story and asked him to star in the film. Though the script is not finalised yet, the Ko creator has approached the actor with a good subject. However, nothing has been finalised and the Nanban star has not given green signal for the proposed film.

Vijay is currently busy with Thalaivaa directed by AL Vijay and he will start a film with Nesan for RB Choudhary's Super Good Movies. It is only after these projects, the KV Anand's film could start if Vijay gives a nod for the proposed flick. However, sources close to Anand has denied the reports and said that the director has not finalised any actor or production house for his next film.

• During the promotion of his last movie Maattrraan, KV Anand had clarified the rumours on his next project and opened up on his association with Ajith and Vijay.
• KV Anand said that he shares a good friendship with Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Ajith Kumar. His association with them dates back to his cinematographer days, where he was the director of photography in some of their films like Nerrukku Ner, etc.
• The director had claimed that if he comes across a good story, he would definitely like to work with Ajith and Vijay.
• When asked about the rumours on him directing Rajinikanth, the director had said that directing the superstar was no joke and it demands a lot of preparation. His fans have huge expectations from him and he completely understands it.
